At FSPA, Gulliver Leads with Excellence
This culture of excellence was on full display at the latest Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) Convention, where RaiderVision, RSN, and Yearbook delivered a strong showing across divisions. The convention highlighted the continued momentum of RaiderVision and RSN, and the intentional alignment between all programs, print and digital. Across divisions, students demonstrated not just technical skill, but a commitment to thoughtful, purposeful storytelling.
RaiderVision once again proved itself as one of the premier student broadcast programs in the state. The team captured 1st place in the Theme Show category, producing a full Raider305 broadcast in just four days—an experience that required intense collaboration, adaptability, and execution under pressure.
Centered around the prompt “Making a Name for Yourself,” the show explored identity, purpose, and the pressures of standing out.

Honoring Excellence in Teaching
A special congratulations to Monica Rodriguez, who has been honored with the Florida Scholastic Press Association Gold Medallion Award—the organization’s highest recognition for sustained excellence and impact in scholastic journalism.
This distinction reflects her leadership, dedication, and the lasting influence she continues to have on student storytellers across the Gulliver community.
One Program, One Standard
From RSN to RaiderVision to Yearbook, the alignment is clear: students are not only learning the craft, they are building the foundation for meaningful, real-world storytelling.
What begins in middle school continues to develop at the upper school level, creating a program rooted in preparation, purpose, and growth.
At Gulliver, storytelling goes beyond the classroom, and this year’s results reflect the impact of that work.
