Building on his longstanding connection to Gulliver, we are excited to introduce Vic Garcia ‘08 as our first Alumni Creative Partner. Through this collaboration, Vic will bring his creativity and real-world insight directly into the student experience.
A creative entrepreneur whose work has made an impact across Miami and beyond, Vic brings a perspective shaped by his own time at Gulliver and a family connection to the school that spans generations. His sister is an alumna, and today, his nieces and nephews include both alumni and current students.
Last year, we recognized Vic as the inaugural recipient of the Raider Spirit Award, honoring his commitment to Gulliver and the energy and enthusiasm he brings to our school. Now, he will have the chance to share that same spirit more directly across our campuses.
“Gulliver has been part of my life and my family for generations, so coming back in this way means a lot to me,” said Vic. “I’m excited to spend time with students, hear their ideas, share what I’ve learned along the way, and hopefully encourage them to take their own creativity seriously. Some of the best things happen when you bring different perspectives together and give people the freedom to create.”
This year, Vic will collaborate with students and faculty across divisions, launch a Lunch & Learn series during Homecoming & Legacy Week, participate in Art Walk, and help connect our school with Miami’s creative landscape. As part of this partnership, he will also design an exclusive Centennial merchandise collection for the Diaz and De Las Cuevas-Diaz Family Spirit Store, set to debut at Art Walk on November 14, 2026.
Vic’s partnership marks the beginning of what we hope will become a growing network of alumni and friends engaging more deeply with Gulliver and the experiences we create across our school.
We are proud to begin this work with Vic and look forward to seeing what takes shape!
