Building on the momentum of last year’s championship run, the Boys’ Golf team entered the 2026 season with high expectations, returning all but one player and adding a talented new 7th grader to create a dominant lineup. Through dedicated daily practice on the range and competitive intersquad matches, the Raiders fostered strong team chemistry and steady growth both on and off the course. Their strong campaign opened with a victory at the Westminster Scramble at Palmetto Golf Course over eight competing teams, paving the way for an impressive undefeated 7-0 regular season match record. The team capped off their historic season at the South Florida Middle School Conference (SFMSC) Championships at Granada Golf Course, dominating the course with a 26-stroke victory margin and posting a tournament-best top-four total score of 151 to secure their fifth consecutive conference title.

This season marked an exciting milestone for Gulliver Prep Athletics with the launch of our inaugural Middle School Girls Golf team! Born out of overwhelming student-athlete interest, our roster of seven 6th–8th graders laid a strong foundation for the future of the program. Throughout this historic first year, the team made tremendous strides in swing mechanics, course management, and understanding the rules of the game. Practicing alongside the Upper School squad, the team benefited from valuable high school mentorship during weekly practices and a competitive intersquad scramble. Beyond sharpening their skills and building confidence on the course, the girls developed strong friendships and lasting memories that extend far beyond the game of golf. With a solid foundation now in place, the program is well-positioned for continued growth and looks forward to entering interscholastic competition in the coming years.
