Our Middle School sports teams have wrapped up the 2025-26 spring season, turning in excellent performances in and out of the classroom. The combined team grade average for spring season teams was an incredible 91.67, led by the girls’ lacrosse team (93.48) and the boys’ tennis team (94.75). In addition to these impressive academic achievements, the Raiders had great success in the South Florida Middle School Conference (SFMSC). Read on to learn more.

Girls’ Tennis – CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS (4-PEAT) (89.37)

The girls’ tennis team ended the season once again undefeated in conference matches and went on to win the South Florida Middle School Conference Championship! A Conference Championship 4-PEAT! This strong team consisted of a group who worked together as a solid team with only one 6th grade student, our Rookie of the Year, Alexandra Boolbol. The girls fought hard in their matches throughout the season and always kept a positive attitude. Coach Mulligan said, “I am so proud of our lady Raiders and what an accomplishment to win 4 Conference Championships in a row!” Congratulations to our players, Natalia Botty, Phoebe Dall’au, Fernanda Gordillo-Rodriguez, Alba Narus, Camila Orrego, Sophie Proman, Sasha Zaragoza, Avery Blatt, Valentina Damian, Eugenia Schaul and Bianca Zapata.

Boys’ Tennis – CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS(94.75)

The Boys’ Tennis team had an impressive season! They went undefeated in conference play and finished as the South Florida Middle School Conference Team Champions. Leading the way were 8th graders Felipe Junqueira, Armaan Malik, and Patrick Shie while 6th graders Max Hoppe and Tobias Cabalin added big wins throughout the season. Coach Bradley is so proud of the team…”It was a great season to be a Raider!”

Baseball – #3 Seed Conference Semifinalists (90.86)

The Gulliver Middle School Baseball team put together a strong and competitive season, finishing with an impressive 8–4 record and proving themselves as one of the top teams in their division. From the start, the team showed a balance of solid pitching, timely hitting, and reliable defense that helped them consistently compete in close games. Throughout the regular season, the team built momentum with key wins against tough opponents, demonstrating resilience and the ability to bounce back after setbacks. The team’s chemistry and work ethic were evident, as players stepped up in big moments and supported each other both on and off the field.

Their success carried into the playoffs, where they continued to play at a high level and earned a spot in the semifinals as the #3 seed in the South Florida Middle School Conference. In that matchup, Gulliver battled hard but ultimately fell short, ending their postseason run just shy of the championship game.

Despite the semifinal loss, the season stands as a success. Finishing 8–4 and making a deep playoff run reflects the team’s dedication, growth, and competitive spirit. With many positives to build on, Gulliver baseball has a strong foundation for future seasons.

The 2026 lacrosse season was one of growth, grit, and determination for our team. Both the  Varsity and Junior Varsity squads displayed remarkable progress, and the season was full of  achievements, both on the field and in the classroom. Our athletes not only showcased their  talent but also demonstrated tremendous maturity and perseverance throughout the year.

Junior Varsity  (90.53)

The Junior Varsity team had a standout season, finishing with a 4-1 record. With impressive  wins over teams like Ransom and Palmer, the JV squad showed they are ready to step up and  carry the torch for the program’s future. Their growth was evident in each game, and they laid a  strong foundation for future seasons, showing incredible potential and leadership.

Varsity

The Varsity team finished the season with a solid 7-4 record, marked by key victories that  demonstrated their resilience and skill. Notable wins came against Westminster and NSU,  where the boys played with passion, determination, and teamwork. Their performances  throughout the season proved that they had evolved into a cohesive and well-rounded team,  consistently improving with every game. The highlight of the season was the Conference  Semifinal appearance, where the team beat Westminster Christian to advance to the  Championship game against Ransom Everglades. This was a game that saw tremendous growth  from our boys compared to the regular-season matchup. The team finished their season as the  South Florida Middle School Conference Team Runner-Up.

The 2026 season was defined by significant growth—both in skill and character. The players  showed tremendous development, not only as lacrosse athletes but as young men. Their  sportsmanship, leadership, and camaraderie improved as the season progressed, culminating in  a strong team that will continue to grow together in the years to come. From remarkable  victories and standout performances to impressive academic achievements and personal  growth, this season will be remembered as a key chapter in our program’s history. As we look  ahead, we are excited for what the future holds and the continued success of our team, both  on and off the field

Girls Lacrosse  (93.48)

In our inaugural Middle School Girls’ Lacrosse season, the team showed resilience and steady  growth while competing against strong opponents. The team opened on the road at Palmer  Trinity, falling 10–4, followed by a close 6–4 loss at home against Ransom Everglades. The team  bounced back in game three with an exciting 7–6 win on the road at Westminster Christian,  demonstrating determination and the ability to perform under pressure. We wrapped up the  season with a hard fought 3–2 loss at home against Palmer Trinity, showing just how much  progress had been made since the first game.

Beyond the results, this season was a clear success. Many of our lady Raiders came in with little  to no experience, yet quickly developed a genuine love for the sport. In a short amount of time,  the team built a strong, supportive dynamic that translated both on and off the field. The  commitment, enthusiasm, and growth displayed throughout the season set a solid foundation  for the future and made this inaugural year something to be proud of.

The Gulliver Raiders Water Polo team finished their season with a great sense of development,  growth and excitement for what’s to come. Led by their Most Valuable Player and 8th grader,  David Rodriguez, the Raiders improved immensely from last season. Some of our returning student-athletes made some

great strides in their development and all made major contributions throughout the season  with their hard work, and desire to win. The future is bright for the Raiders Water Polo  program, as our graduating 8th grade student-athletes prepare to play at the Upper School  Varsity level and train during the off-season. Congratulations on a great season! Go Raiders!
