Q: How long have you been at Gulliver, and what’s your favorite thing about our school?

A: I’ve been working at Gulliver for four years. My favorite thing about our school is the collaboration and family environment between the teachers and administration.

Q: What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

A: One thing people would be surprised to know about me is that I can throw a football about 30 yards.

Fatima Ginoris is a Lower School teacher at Gulliver.

Q: What are three words your students would use to describe you as a teacher?

A: Three words my students would use to describe me as a teacher would be caring, fun, and motivating.

Q: Have you always taught Lower School students? What’s special about second grade at Gulliver?

A:  I have taught grade levels second through fifth throughout my 23-year career. What’s special about second grade at Gulliver is the connection that you build with not only the students but the families. These bonds enable significant growth throughout the second grade year and create lasting memories that they can treasure for a lifetime.

Q: What lesson, time of year, or school event/happening do you most look forward to each year?

A: My favorite time of year is the holiday season. Throughout this time children learn about different cultures and how their holiday traditions are celebrated. They learn to appreciate and acknowledge others, and the significance of the holidays they observe.
