Upper School Troupe 2450

Gulliver Prep’s Upper School Troupe 2450 participated in the 2023 Florida Thespian State Festival, performing and learning alongside 12,000 students from across the state.

Every performance, audition, and technical scene taken to the state festival earned Superior scores, while Theo Ciperski ‘23 earned Top Honors – the highest numerical score awarded in the category, for his monologues. Additionally, Esther Enekes ‘23 was awarded with a scholarship for her management portfolio, which also earned her acceptance into Carnegie Melon’s theatre program.

Under the direction of Jessica Fox, Upper School Performing Arts Faculty & Drama Director, Gulliver’s one act production earned Top Honors, with every Troupe 2450 participant earning Superiors, and the highest scores in the state as Top Honors recipients.

The Florida State Thespian Festival is the largest high school theatre festival in the world; the national festival saw 3,000 attendees last year. Miami-Dade County is the largest district in the state – Gulliver students are in the largest, most competitive location, and they are earning the highest scores given for their work in high school theatre.
