Gulliver Preparatory School is proud to announce a successful showing at the 65th annual Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald Silver Knight Awards, as Maya Gowda ‘23 was named winner of the Speech category. Two students earned Honorable Mention honors – Victoria Paesano ‘23 for the General Scholarship category and Ava Seymour ‘23 for the Journalism category. The three students were recognized for their academic excellence and community service at the awards ceremony held on May 25, 2023.

Since 2011, five Gulliver students have been named Silver Knight Award winners in their respective categories, and 12 have earned Honorable Mention nods.

One of the nation’s most highly regarded student awards programs, the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald Silver Knight Awards program recognizes outstanding students who have maintained their academics while unselfishly applying their special knowledge and talents to contribute significant service to their schools and communities.
