2023 Middle School and Upper School yearbooksOur Middle and Upper School Digital Mass Media programs continue to shine at the state and national levels, recently receiving several top awards and designations.

The 2023 edition of the Upper School yearbook, “This Right Here,” received the highest recognition awarded in scholastic journalism by two national organizations, as The Raider was named a National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) Pacemaker finalist and a Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) Crown Award finalist for overall, journalistic excellence. Eight Florida schools were named Pacemaker finalists, and The Raider is the only high school yearbook in Miami-Dade County to have received a Pacemaker.

Gulliver’s 2022-23 Middle School yearbook, “Look at Us Now,” was also named a Crown Award finalist, making the Middle and Upper School duo the only two yearbooks in the county to have received this distinction. Five Florida schools were named Crown Award finalists, and Gulliver’s were the only two representing all of South Florida.

Also earning a Crown Award finalist nod was The Raider Voice, the Upper School’s student-driven news site. There were only four digital news sites that earned this recognition in the state of Florida, and The Raider Voice was Miami-Dade County’s lone honoree.

The 2022-23 Middle School yearbook has also earned All-Florida recognition from the Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) and NSPA All-American honors.
