Upper School MusicThe Upper School Music Department closed out its 2021-22 competition season at the Heritage Music Festival at Universal Studios in Orlando. A national adjudicated and competitive music festival, this event takes place in more than 20 cities across North America for school choral and instrumental groups.

Four individual ensembles – Jazz, Wind, Vocal, and String – won Gold in the 2A category, while Gulliver’s Music Program received national recognition in the following categories:

Outstanding Band Group
Outstanding Orchestra
Adjudicator Award
Sweepstakes for Instrumental Program
Sweepstakes for Total Program

Furthermore, three students were recognized with the Maestro Award for superior musicianship: Jason Fieler ’22, Diego Torres-Platt ’22, and Natalia Lopez ’22.

Our Middle School musicians have also closed out their competition season, participating in OrlandoFest, May 5-7, 2022.
