Gulliver Prep is proud to announce that both its Upper School and Middle School student publications have been named Crown Award Finalists by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA), one of the highest honors in scholastic journalism and design. Additionally, both student publications have been named National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) Pacemaker Finalists for 2026, placing Gulliver among a select group of schools nationwide whose student work meets the highest standards of excellence.
The 2025 Upper School Reflections Literary & Arts Magazine, Voices, and the 2025 Raider yearbooks from both Upper and Middle School were selected from 527 entries worldwide, with only 221 publications earning finalist distinction. Crown finalists are chosen by a board of scholastic and professional media experts and represent exceptional achievement in storytelling, reporting, photography, design, and editorial leadership.
Notably, Gulliver’s Upper School yearbook is the only high school in Miami-Dade County to receive a Crown finalist designation this year. Gulliver’s Middle School yearbook is the only middle school in Florida and the Southeast to earn NSPA Pacemaker finalist recognition. Together, these honors reflect the strength, rigor, and continuity of Gulliver’s journalism programs across divisions.
This recognition underscores Gulliver Prep’s commitment to Next-Level Teaching and Learning, where students engage in authentic, college-level work that demands creativity, critical thinking, and voice. Through these publication programs, students grow as storytellers, collaborators, and leaders—exemplifying what it means to be Thriving Students prepared to contribute meaningfully beyond the classroom.
