Our Model UN students recently showcased their preparation, collaboration, and global perspective at two highly competitive conferences, GatorMUN and Harvard Model United Nations. At GatorMUN, the team earned Outstanding Large Delegation, a recognition that reflects strong performance across committees and consistent leadership throughout the conference. The team continued its momentum at HMUN, where students were recognized among thousands of top delegates from around the world during their first-ever appearance at the conference.

At GatorMUN, a group of students was assigned to General Assembly and regional committees, where delegates represented entire countries and focused on public speaking, negotiation, and coalition-building. These committees challenged students to engage thoughtfully with global issues while collaborating across perspectives. In these settings, students earned multiple honors, including Best Delegate, Honorable Mention, Verbal Commendation, and Position Paper awards.

Other students participated in Specialized and Crisis Committees, which required rapid problem-solving, strategic thinking, and dynamic role-playing. In these smaller committees, delegates assumed the roles of specific characters and navigated evolving scenarios that tested their ability to adapt, communicate clearly, and lead under pressure.

At Harvard Model United Nations, students again competed in both General Assembly and specialized committees, earning top individual recognitions for their diplomacy, preparation, and intellectual rigor. Competing on an international stage, students demonstrated confidence and curiosity while engaging in complex global dialogue.

Together, these experiences reflect the depth of the Model UN program and the students’ ability to think critically, collaborate meaningfully, and lead with purpose in varied and challenging environments.
