On February 8, more than 40 freshmen competed in the Miami-Dade History Fair at the HistoryMiami Museum, presenting the results of their research projects in categories such as websites, documentaries, exhibits, and papers.

Twenty-five students placed in the top two of their respective categories, and are now eligible to continue on to the State competition in May. This year’s group of participants was not only the largest group to participate at the county level, but also the biggest group to advance to the next level of competition.
