We are thrilled to announce a generous gift made to Transformation. Together. 2026., Gulliver’s capital campaign, as the Havenick family has come forward with a significant gift to name the Havenick Family Commons at the Center for Student Life.

The Havenick family encompasses two current Gulliver families, including fourth generation Miami natives Sarah Bielawski ‘25, Jacob Bielawski ‘29, Gavin Havenick ‘30, and Jordan Havenick ‘32.

“What we love about Gulliver is that there is something for everyone. Each child in our family who is currently enrolled has different interests and hobbies, yet each of them is able to participate in activities they enjoy because the school has such diverse offerings. And more importantly, the kids look forward to going to school every day.”

Located at the Marian C. Krutulis PK-8 Campus, the Havenick Family Commons has become a go-to gathering place for students, faculty, and parents since its opening in October 2022. With the naming of this space, the family hopes to continue to build community, foster friendships, and bring people together. “We love our Miami community and have always participated in philanthropy that can bring people together in an enriching way. This space feels like it could be the students’ home away from home, and that is what drew us to it.”

Recognizing the importance of staying current and ahead of the curve when it comes to education, the Havenick family chose to make Gulliver Prep one of their philanthropic priorities. They have long been giving back to the community and continue to invest in future generations in ways that are meaningful to them.

Our family has always emphasized the necessity of advancing education. We value this important cause with the understanding that the benefits our youth obtain from a stronger education will benefit us all.
