Student-Produced Literary Magazine Earns Top Honors

The 2019 Reflections Literary Magazine has earned its first Columbia Crown and a Superior rating in The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE)’s Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) Program. The Crown marks the sixth time a Gulliver Prep student publication has earned this prestigious recognition, joining the Raider Voice news website and four-time honoree The Raider Yearbook.

The 2019 edition of Reflections has also earned All-Florida recognition with Special Distinctions in Writing and Design, and is a CSPA Gold Medalist, receiving All-Columbian honors in the Verbal and Design categories. In 2018, Reflections earned FSPA’s Sunshine Standout Award, making it the best among all literary magazine submissions in Florida.

The literary magazine is a true reflection of the creative work of students in various departments at the Upper School, and includes photography, drawings, poems, and other art and literary works. Editors are now accepting entries for the 2020 publication. To submit an entry for consideration, please visit gulliver.life/reflectionslitmag.
