Middle School Mass Media

Students in the mass media program at the Middle School are hard at work, finishing and updating publications, executing morning announcements from home, and competing virtually. 

With the yearbook wrapped up and ready for distribution, journalism students have turned their attention to The Raider Flash: their scholastic news site and corresponding Instagram account (@TheRaiderFlash). Students have been putting together “Flashback from 2019-20” videos, and performing arts students have submitted clips of their talents. Also featured on The Raider Flash are Raider Student Network (RSN) video packages, and coming soon are COVID-19 infographics created by digital design students.

Middle School broadcasting and journalism students were set to travel to Orlando for the Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) Convention this Spring and although they were unable to attend physically, they participated virtually. Click here to learn more and view their competition pieces.
