Gulliver Preparatory School is proud to announce a record showing at the 63rd annual Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald Silver Knight Awards, as Ingrid Gruener ‘21 was named winner of the Speech category, and three students earned Honorable Mention honors.

Ingrid, along with Craig Cosentino ‘21 (Drama), Jessica Medwin ‘21 (Art), and Sabrina Sharma ‘21 (Science) were recognized for their academic excellence and community service in a virtual ceremony held on May 20, 2021. To view the ceremony program, click here.

Since 2011, three Gulliver students have now been named Silver Knight Award winners in their respective categories, and nine have earned Honorable Mention nods. Over the past six years, the school has produced three winners, including back-to-back winners in 2016 and 2017, and five Honorable Mentions. 

One of the nation’s most highly regarded student awards programs, the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald Silver Knight Awards program recognizes outstanding students who have maintained their academics while unselfishly applying their special knowledge and talents to contribute significant service to their schools and communities.
