How long have you been at Gulliver? What is your favorite thing about our school?

Elizabeth Bloom

I have been at Gulliver for 12 years. My favorite thing about Gulliver is the amazing students I get to work with.

What is one thing people may not know about you? 

I am a flute player and have played since I was 11 years old.

How do you keep your students engaged in learning?

We play lots of different games in my class to help make learning fun!

Why do you love teaching Lower School students? 

Lower School students are enthusiastic about learning. I love watching them make so much progress in one school year.

What advice would you give to Lower School students as they transition to Middle School?

Get yourself organized! Find a system that works well for you!

A Gulliver memory that will stick with you forever: Watching my two children as students at the Marian C. Krutulis PK-8 Campus (formerly the Academy).

Favorite weekend activity: I love to go for long runs on the weekend.
