Celebrating high degrees of advancing the arts, leadership, and character

ARTS CIRCLE OF HONOR

The Arts Circle of Honor celebrates significant contributions to the advancement of the arts in visual and performing arts while exemplifying leadership and character. Inspired by our Athletic Hall of Fame, this prestigious recognition will be awarded biennially, alternating years with the Athletics Hall of Fame.

Established in 2025, the Arts Circle of Honor is a natural and meaningful step forward, recognizing alumni who have excelled in competitions, in the classroom, and beyond, as they’ve gone on to build successful careers and make lasting contributions to the Arts. As Gulliver approaches its Centennial year in 2026 and we prepare to open a new Arts and Innovation building, a dynamic home for our arts programs and a multidisciplinary, collaborative hub for students and the broader community, we are reminded of the powerful role the Arts have played, and will continue to play, in shaping the Gulliver experience.

ARTS CIRCLE OF HONOR CANDIDATES ARE SELECTED BASED ON THE CRITERIA BELOW:

Alumni

  • Must have earned a Gulliver Preparatory School diploma.
  • Eligible a minimum of five (5) years after graduation
  • Must have exemplified Gulliver’s high standards of leadership and citizenship.
  • Selection will be based primarily upon artistic accomplishments either while at Gulliver, in a university or other setting, or on professional levels after graduation.
  • Character during and after the candidate’s high school years will be a major consideration.
  • Posthumous candidates will be given equal consideration.
  • The Arts Circle of Honor Selection Committee may waive the graduation requirement when exceptional circumstances such as elevated professional opportunities, illness, or death have prevented an otherwise worthy candidate from meeting this requirement.
