The Kobusch Family: Richard, Maura and Richard “Lion” Kobusch III ‘30

“We are elated to partner with Gulliver in navigating this critical, complex period of our son’s academic, social, and emotional development. Our shared vision and emphasis on strength-based learning is creating a nurturing, empowering environment in which Lion is thriving. Philanthropy means an opportunity to provide much-needed, and the most important funds, to nonprofit organizations that in return, from their financial gifts, make the community a better place for our current generations and those to come. We are happy to support all aspects of development at Gulliver and are fortunate to assist the community in its unparalleled efforts to create opportunities for its members.”

What is your favorite, or proudest, Gulliver memory?

Undoubtedly, Lion’s first day at Gulliver in January. It was a big decision to transfer mid-year.  We audibly exhaled as he exited the car and was greeted by countless smiling faces. Each of us will remember his twinkling eyes at his first pick-up, and the joy in his voice as he exclaimed,  “I love this school!”

We are happy to support all aspects of development at Gulliver and are fortunate to assist the community in its unparalleled efforts to create opportunities for its members. We ardently support Gulliver’s leaders as they strive to assist each student in expressing their unique potential.
